T.J. Davies Company is an independently owned manufacturer of retention knobs and retention knob sockets. For more than fifty years T. J. Davies Company has been manufacturing our own line of retention knobs.  All manufacturing is done in our plant located in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.  Our retention knobs are known throughout the industry as second-to-none, and they can be easily recognized in their famous blue tubes. T J Davies Company is currently looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day inside sales and customer service.

Responsibilities:

How You Will Impact Our Organization

  • Identifies maximum sales volume and develops realistic sales projections for assigned accounts.
  • Interact with key stakeholders on an ongoing basis, to include calling current and prospective accounts.
  • Oversee operations of assigned accounts. Advise or assist customers/clients in areas including inventory selection and control, new products and services.
  • Takes orders, introduces new products and promotions, reemphasizes existing products and services and provides literature as necessary.
  • Complete weekly customer call sheets, including written summary of calls made, action items and deliverables.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Excellent computer skills, including hardware and software.
