Davies Company has been manufacturing our own line of retention knobs. All manufacturing is done in our plant located in Mantua, Ohio. Our retention knobs are known throughout the industry as second-to-none, and they can be easily recognized in their famous blue tubes. T J Davies Company is currently looking for a highly motivated Warehouse Technician. This is a fast-paced position with great growth potential. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse responsibilities for the company.

What We Expect From You

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Efficiently set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc.

· Ensure the proper tooling and computer programs are installed for jobs.

· Monitor CNC machine during production run and adjust programs as necessary.

· Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify conformance of finished work pieces to specifications.

· Prioritize work according to instructions.

· Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds.

· Perform day-to-day maintenance on machines, and other preventative maintenance as required.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· Strong mechanical skills.

· Strong shop math skills.

· Ability to prioritize effectively.

· Ability to use precision measuring instruments.

· Ability to communicate and work well with others.

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Previous CNC machining experience or trade school grad preferred

· Willing to train the right person
